Transmission and diffusion of light with AGRICOVER®

AGRICOVER® increases PAR transmittance between 625 and 800 nm up to 86–90%, promoting photosynthesis and maintaining stable light over time. Its high diffusion transforms direct light into diffuse light, illuminating shaded areas and improving the uniformity of development and maturation. This diffusion also prevents overheating of the foliage, optimizes temperature, and contributes to better color, firmness, and sugar content in the fruits, as well as reducing evapotranspiration and the use of water and fertilizers.

Thermal control and anti-frost effect with AGRICOVER® T

AGRICOVER® T blocks on average 86.2% of long-wave IR, reducing thermal inversion and providing an anti-frost effect by preventing radiation loss. This accelerates crop development and advances the harvest by 4 to 10 days, in addition to decreasing condensation on the leaves and the risk of diseases. Its lamination on both sides maintains high light transmittance for a longer time, avoiding the loss of brightness that occurs in fabrics laminated on only one side.
